Economato

This photo was taken in Murcia, Spain, just outside a small neighborhood shop called Economato. Murcia was one of my favorite places to visit while living in Spain — a city full of beautiful architecture and a vibrant atmosphere.

It was late afternoon, and the spring heat was ever-present in the streets of Murcia. There was something vibrant in the air — music floated down from nearby balconies, and the light bounced softly between buildings. Soon, someone would drag those chairs out, wipe the table, and start preparing for the street festival later that evening. People of all ages would fill the streets, dancing. Some were already savoring the anticipation with a glass of wine in hand — waiting, smiling, listening. And the street, for a moment, held its breath.
