This photograph is what I would call vintage Italian charm. It was taken in Riva del Garda, a sweet Italian village located right by Lago di Garda. I fell in love with this bookstore — I hope you will too.
Song that fits the mood:
”La Vie en rose by Madeleine Peyroux”
In 1954, a woman stepped into this very bookstore. She wasn’t looking for anything in particular — maybe just a moment of quiet, or a way to escape the heat outside. She browsed the shelves slowly, trailing her fingers along the spines. Eventually, she picked out a small poetry collection — not because she’d heard of the author, but because the cover was the color of the sea that day. The shopkeeper wrapped it in brown paper, tied with string. Later that afternoon, she skimmed the book and noticed an address scribbled in the margins. It wasn’t far, and her curiosity got the better of her. She knocked on the door, and a woman slightly older than herself opened. The woman didn’t know why her address was written in the book — but still, they started talking. Almost 70 years later they were sitting at a nearby café, laughing about how that small coincidence turned into a lifelong friendship.
Printed on classic, uncoated matte paper — smooth, non-reflective, and chosen for its timeless feel. Sustainably sourced and made to last.
