This photo was taken in Murcia, Spain — one of the first places I visited after moving there. The light was sharp and golden, the streets already alive, and I experienced it all through the lens of my camera.
Song that fits the mood:
“Tacones Rojos” by Sebastián Yatra
While the photo was taken, a woman in her thirties was preparing to leave the apartment. Her black dress flattered her figure perfectly, her red heels tapped confidently across the pavement, and her hair bounced with every step. She wasn’t in a hurry, but she had somewhere to be — and her heart beat a little faster, because the woman she’d had her eyes on was going to be there too. So when she finally stepped out of the building and felt the heat wrap around her skin, her face carried that unmistakable look: nervous, excited, hopeful.
